All educators and school administration staff from Colegio Santo Agostinho Novo Leblon and Instituto Cultural Santo Agostinho in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, participated in a unique experience called "Onboarding," which allows them to learn about and understand the Augustinian charism, which is essential for reaching the minds and hearts of our students and families.
The initiative is part of the initial itinerary of the Training Plan for Augustinian Recollect educational centers and is available on the Red EDUCAR website. The meeting was organized by the management team of Colegio Santo Agostinho and covers all of the school's departments and projects. During the onboarding process, employees receive a folder containing the OAR Institutional Educational Project, the Augustinian Pedagogical Foundations, the Child Protection Protocol, the Evaluation Manual, and two Augustinian works to learn more about our teacher, Saint Augustine.
For the school, it is important to break away from the routine of daily duties and enjoy a more complete view of the school, understanding who can be counted on for certain subjects and which documents are essential to study within the scope of our charism and our Order.

Participating in the onboarding program gave me a sense of belonging to the evangelizing mission of Colegio Santo Agostinho. The dynamic was wonderful, allowing me to get to know each person a little, and having collaborators from all walks of life gave me a sense of family. Everyone plays an essential role in making everything run smoothly. The idea of a guardian angel was wonderful.
